Colores Del Mar is the home of many colorful, handwoven bags, as seen in well known magazines including: Vogue, Bazaar, and In Style.
Our Oaxaca Totes are designed in Florida and handwoven by a team of skilled artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico. Each bag is made with love and takes at least one day to complete.
These totes, made solely of recycled plastic, are both practical and eco-friendly. The recycled plastic used to make these bags holds up very well against sand and water, making our bags the perfect option for a day at the beach.
The Wayuu bags are created by the women of the Wayuu tribe in La Guajira, Columbia. The hand-woven bags are a very important part of their culture and tradition. Each bag is unique, with distinct patterns, guaranteeing no two bags are the same. Our Wayuu bags take anywhere from 15-20 days to be completed, resulting in elaborate designs and unmatchable quality. These bags are truly a labor of love!
The preservation and growth of these artisanal trades are very important to us, as we strongly believe in supporting artisans and local communities. Each purchase helps conserve their art and encourages them to continue doing what they love.
